Suburban Residential

Welcome

Considering building a new home
in an established Canberra suburb?

A unique number of residential blocks are becoming available for purchase across Canberra through the ACT Government’s Loose Fill Asbestos Insulation Eradication Scheme.

Varying in size, many of these blocks sit in tree lined streets in the heart of some of Canberra’s older, more established suburbs and communities. Blocks are available in the Inner North, the Inner South, Tuggeranong, Weston Creek, Woden, and Belconnen.

Some blocks zoned RZ2 may be suitable for two dwellings. On other blocks, currently zoned RZ1 and over 700m², Territory Plan variation 343 may be applicable, which allows for separate unit titling of up to two dwellings to be built.

The ACT Government has appointed sales agents Independent Property Group and Civium Property Group to assist with the sales process.

For further information about the Loose Fill Asbestos Insulation Eradication Scheme please visit www.asbestostaskforce.act.gov.au, or contact Access Canberra on 13 22 81.
