Molonglo Valley is Canberra's newest region, located approximately 10 kilometres south west of the CBD between Weston Creek and Belconnen.
The development of Molonglo Valley will be staged over a number of years, and will eventually be home to several new suburbs. Wright and Coombs were the first two suburbs to be released in Molonglo Valley, and they will soon be followed by Denman Prospect.
The Molonglo Valley Region Map indicates the three stages of the region's development.
Molonglo Valley will include schools, local shops, parks, green spaces and playgrounds to help connect the community to the location.
Residents will have easy access to some of Canberra’s premier outdoor playgrounds, including the Molonglo River, the National Arboretum Canberra, the National Zoo and Aquarium and Stromlo Forest Park.
