Deakin Charity House
The Master Builders Association of the ACT (MBA) and the Land Development Agency (LDA) have partnered with Renaissance Homes to deliver a new Charity House Project for 2016.
The Deakin Charity House project is a joint project where the LDA is contributing two adjoining separate title in-fill parcels of land in Deakin and MBA members, led by Renaissance Homes, are donating (or providing at low cost) construction materials and labour. The 2015-16 Project will deliver two home and land packages to market for auction in 2016.

Franklin Charity House
The Land Development Agency was pleased to collaborate with the Master Builders Association of the ACT on the 2012 Franklin Charity House project. The project aimed to provide a high amenity, cost competitive dwelling that was released for sale by auction and sold on 2 March 2013. The funds raised have gone to charities serving ACT homelessness.
The 'Mingle' Community Development Programs
The LDA community development program, named 'Mingle', is an exciting LDA initiative that aims to build vibrant communities through a range of activities such as new residents programs, events, working groups and more. These fun filled activities provide a great opportunity for residents to get involved in their local community and meet and connect with neighbours.
